Hi! I'm Adrian Nicolas

an Artist, a musician, wannabe writer, and a pure filpino citizen (be Proud of where you came from)

When I was 4 years old, I started to discover my skill in coloring images on textbooks using a brittle crayon. As I entered pre-school I always drew stick figures.
In my grade school, I used some other medium like oil pastel and watercolor that gave me a prize in winning some poster making contest. I also read some book related to origami (art of folding paper), and practicing to make some, late afternoon in our library.
I drew my favorite anime character from Dragon ball, Voltes 5, Trigun, and other anime.
I wished to be an editorial cartoonist in our school paper but I didn’t pass my demo in time.
Secondary in my high light of my art career, I’ve joined lot of activists connected to visual communication, some artists I accompanied to paint a mural, designed bulletin, and beautified our classroom with a lot debt and low amount of fund raising.
I’m interested with inspirational stories, brutal and horror, emotional poses, and society problem. I’m inspired with someone making some different to state what other cannot.
I also wrote short stories with tragic ending, poetries, prose, quotes I that sent via text. I had made a plush and paper Mache because of my ex-girlfriend.
Before I graduated, I tried to make a good shoot in holding a digital camera. I learned to use photo editor to manipulate photos.
Today, I currently study at CSDA (Cordillera School of Digital Art) as a 2D assistant animator. Maybe next three month I will study 2D Digital. I hope I could get the courses of 3D animation and flash.
And make work on art studios here in the Philippine. If I earn money I will get a bachelor’s course like BS fine art, BS arch, BS animation… IN MY DREAM

okay...

I'm already awake...

after two to three months... I'll never write journal in the past day...

then today

I'll will write down everything i could remember... If I could...

The former president and the democracy Icon, Maria Corazon "Cory" Sumulong Cojuangco Aquino
the first ever filipina president...

last August 01, 2009

then now

The TYPHOON ONDOY

that almost killed 240 people... it happen again after 40 years

a flash flood with a deep of two story house...

and that the news here in the Philippines

by the way why I may title my journal "DIGITAL ART VS FINE ART"

because they're different and have there own principle and law maybe

digital art(or computer art)

have three division

1. bitmap (digital painting)
2. vector (digital drawing)
3. 3D modeling

inside the bitmap it is compose of photo manipulation (photo editing), photoshop, and others ( I forgot )

vector is an digital drawing (yes, I know this is a lesson from physic) using a path that can easy bend and control...

3D modeling is the process of developing a mathematical representation of any three-dimensional object (either inanimate or living)like the PIXAR movies, Maya, Poser, Lightbox, and blender...

how about the fine art?

obviously

the traditional art of digital art... right

in painting they used paintbrush and canvas,

in drawing sketchpad and pencil

in sculpturing or clay modeling there own hand to model

what is the different between the two?

digital art is dependent because without the computer there's no visual output
and fine art is independent you can make an art with a less use of computer

between them what is the commonly used?

digital because everybody can be an artist, they have the right to control what they what to be, maybe fine art as long as the equipment is not expensive...

lastly...

is better to combine the two in order make a new, and them know the basic...
